What we do

Community Playschemes are an opportunity for children to experience a range of play opportunities within a local community building. Some of our play opportunities include: junk modelling; outdoor games; muddy kitchens; and den building.

Our Community Playschemes run on an open access basis in varying locations across the Vale of Glamorgan.

Our sessions are aimed at ages 5 - 14 years.

We are available: school holiday only.

We are available during the following school holidays:

  • Autumn half term
  • Easter holiday
  • May half term
  • Spring half term
  • Summer holiday

We are unable to provide wrap around care.

The language spoken in our setting is English only.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
All of our community play opportunities are inclusive, and staff are able to support children with a wide range of needs. If your child has any needs we need to be aware of, please ensure these are on your registration form and discussed with the Play Leader onsite, so that we can ensure your child has the best possible experience at the session.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
