The Exchange- is part of the Families First/Flying Start ProgrammeThe-exchange support the psychological and emotional well-being of children, young people and families through counselling and focused interventions.The-exchange provides counselling for those aged 5-10 yrs and young people 16-25 yrs within the community and schools. The- exchange also provides a school-based counselling service for those aged 10-16 yrs (up to 19 years old if the young person has additional needs). Young people can be seen in the community as an alternative.The-exchange offers therapeutic support to families which will be focused on building resilience within the family. This will include developing resilient relationships within the family and between parents. The service provides a mixture of one to one work and group work. The counselling will take place either in the school setting or a community base
