What we do

Out of School Childcare offers care outside of the child’s full time school day, running before school, after school and during the school holidays for children aged 3 - 11+ years.

Out of School Childcare provides experiences that are rich in play and led by the child, facilitated by qualified Playworkers. Playworkers give children opportunities to play freely in a safe space, boosting their self-esteem and wellbeing and helping them develop a range of life skills.

Who do we support

Children who attend our wraparound or after school care provision.

Training/ Experience/ Qualifications: NNEB, BTec, NVQ2, 3 or 4 levels, 2x Childcare Learning & Development Level 5 plus a qualified midwife.
All staff are DBS checked
Toy Box have been nominated for the Healthy and Sustainable Pre-School Scheme National Award. Working towards the Healthy & Sustainable Pre-School Scheme in conjunction with Wrexham Council.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: school holiday only. Closed Bank Holidays. Open over Christmas period including Christmas Eve and in between Christmas and New Year.

We are available during the following school holidays:

  • Autumn half term
  • Christmas
  • Easter holiday
  • May half term
  • Spring half term
  • Summer holiday

We are unable to provide wrap around care.

  Our costs

  • £31.00 per Session - Covers 5 hours of consecutive care at any time during opening hours
  • £47.00 per Day

Reduction for full weeks, please enquire. Fees include meals.
