Have choice and take control
Aimed at people who are 16+, not physically active and have a medical condition. The scheme is designed to provide opportunities to exercise that are fun, social, rewarding and that can be incorporated into everyday life.
The scheme is for residents of the Vale of Glamorgan Council area. Our service runs from four of the leisure centres of the Vale of Glamorgan, Barry, Penarth, Cowbridge and Llantwit Major.
Yes - The charge is £2.50 per session for the scheme. Our scheme uses specialist classes and gym usage. Other activities can be done but there will be a separate charge for the services provided.
People need to be referred by a health professional to gain access to scheme.
