What we do

This is a school based setting. Playgroup Plus for children whose 3rd birthday falls after the 31st August. Wraparound is for Ysgol Y Waun nursery class and the Pre School Playgroup.

Who do we support

All 3 yr old children until they start full time school.

Experience/training/qualifications: Supervisors have CACHE Diploma in Childcare, 2 x Level 3 & 5 Diploma in Leadership, Childcare & Learning Development. 1 is working towards Level 2 in Childcare Learning & Development.
All staff are DBS checked and attend mandatory training in First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding.

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Autumn term
  • Spring term
  • Summer term

We can provide wrap around care. Ysgol Y Waun and Chirk Preschool.
