What we do

We are a friendly group of people who enjoy getting together for a good giggle and a natter over a nice hot cup of tea/coffee.

There is a weekly raffle and all members bring a prize, tickets are 50p Most enjoy a game of bingo; we play 4 games at a cost of £1 and can win a bar of chocolate!

We organise a variety of things to do throughout the year to keep us busy and give us reason to beat that feeling of loneliness. Come and join us to have a say in your local activities and be a part of your community once again. We often decide to have lunch together from local cafe's or takeaways which each individual pays for.

Who do we support

Everyone is welcome to come along and join us for a for a nice cup of tea, a natter come and meet new people and make new friends and enjoy some fun on a Friday

The hall is also available for hire and can be rented at a very low cost: £10 per hour, £20 for 3 hours or £40 a day. The maximum capacity of the hall is 70 and chairs and tables are provided. The room is suitable for a variety of groups and activities, we currently host a taekwondo class Rainbows, Brownies & Guides. Others are welcome to enquire

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - We pay an annual fee of £7.50 to help cover funds of the hall and to allow us to have a warm, safe and friendly meeting place
We also pay £1.50 a week to cover tea, coffee and biscuits.

Can anyone use this service?

Everyone is welcome, to join our friendly group as long as they have the interests of the village at heart
