What we do

SWADS is an award-winning peer support group, run by and for people with lived experience of mental health.

Since 2013, we have welcomed hundreds of people from across South Wales looking for support from those who really understand what it’s like. We are proud to be a local, independent, peer-led community that really helps make a big difference to people’s lives.

Our aim is to provide an outlet for people to talk about their mental health in a friendly and informal environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgement.

We have events that appeal to everyone including coffee meets, walks, lunches, zoom chats & quizzes, arts & crafts, badminton and more, all organised to minimise anxiety for new and regular members alike. Just pick the ones that appeal to you.

Please don't hesitate to join and have a look at what's going on - you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
