What we do

RNIB Cymru is Wales’ largest sight loss organisation. RNIB work with visually impaired children and young people, their families and the professionals who support them to promote good quality education and social experiences.
Direct support services include: Family Support; Early Years; Education; Confidence Building; and Transitions

RNIB covers the whole of Wales. We work with all children and young people who have a visual impairment, including those with multiple disabilities and visual impairment (complex needs)

Additional services are offered by RNIB that will also be useful for families:
Helpline – Our friendly team provide a listening ear and are able to give advice to blind and partially sighted people, carers, friends, relatives and organisations helping people with sight loss.
RNIB Library - Is the largest of its kind in the UK, and it's completely free with over 60,000 items in the collection available in Audio, Braille, Giant Print, Music.
