What we do

• Do you need small repairs or adaptations carried out at your home?
• Are you over 60 years old?
• Do you own (or privately rent) your home within the County of Carmarthenshire

Care and Repair Carmarthenshire may be able to help.
Our Handyperson can call at your property and discuss your needs. We will advise you of the cost of the works before we start the job. However, if you instruct us to carry out your repair or adaptation, there will be a minimum charge of £15 (plus the cost of materials). If no work is carried out, there is no charge for the visit. If we find that the work is outside the scope of the Handyperson Scheme, we may still be able to assist you in other ways.

Who do we support

Mainly older (60years+) home owners and 'private' tenants living in Carmarthenshire.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - We will advise you of the cost of the works before we start the job. However, if you instruct us to carry out your repair or adaptation, there will be a minimum charge of £15 (plus the cost of materials). If no work is carried out, there is no charge for the visit.
