Kidney Cancer UK aims to provide UK kidney cancer patients and their carers with improved access to reliable information about kidney cancer and its treatment. Kidney Cancer offer a dedicated free Kidney Cancer Counselling service. This free one-to-one counselling service is available to patients, carers and close family affected by kidney cancer through appointment only and is conducted by a qualified counsellor employed by the charity over the telephone.The counselling offered is a therapeutic, supportive and safe space for clients to feel able to talk confidentially about any issues they are experiencing. There is no cost to this service, it is provided free of charge.Each caller will have an initial separate assessment to ensure their needs and expectations for counselling are met. During the assessment we will decide a convenient time for the counselling sessions to take place.
