Have choice and take control
ARA in partnership with GamCare deliver FREE gambling awareness workshops to 11-19 year olds and the professionals who support them, raising the awareness around gambling and gambling related harm. The training consists of an interactive workshop for young people delivered in various educational settings, focused on giving them the knowledge to make safer choices around gambling. It helps them to understand the impacts of gambling related harm, recognise the signs of a problem and knowing where and how to access help if they need it. Our professional training is CPD Accredited for those youth-facing professionals focused on recognising risk factors, signs and symptoms of a gambling problem. We look at various ways that you can talk to young people about gambling and signposting to help if needed. We also look at the links and latest news relating to gaming and loot boxes and how this relates to gambling.
