What we do

ACE Cardiff is an education charity working in Butetown and Grangetown providing learning activities for children and ESOL lessons for adults.

We are running free summer activities for children at Butetown Pavilion and Grangetown Hub. Our main activities are arts and crafts and board games. We are offering reading support but it is currently oversubscribed.

Children will play board games, card games and jigsaws with our volunteers for fun and to help encourage team work and confidence.

Who do we support

Primary children between 6 and 11. Younger children can join but they must be accompanied by an adult. Older children are welcome but may find the activities too young for them. Registering helps us anticipate demand, but you can just turn up.

Primarily aimed at young people in Butetown or Grangetown though not a strict requirement.
