What we do

Invite people to learn more about the 480-acre Chirk Castle estate by joining our ranger volunteer for a guided walk. This walk takes place on 22nd May at 11am. This walk will cover some interesting areas of natural history and will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Booking is essential.
Please wear suitable walking shoes/boots and dress according to the weather.
This event is FREE, but normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and garden.

Who do we support

This walk is for those who love the outdoors and have a combined interest in history and walking
Meet on the grassed area by the kiosk down at Home Farm, a short distance from the ticket office.
Each walk is limited to 15 people
NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY YOUNG CHILDREN OR PRAMS

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - This event is FREE, but normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and garden.

Can anyone use this service?

No referal required however - This walk takes place on uneven grassland and is unsuitable for wheelchairs, visitors with limited mobility and prams/pushchairs.
