Have choice and take control
Our aim is to support people to be as independent as possible. For some people this means learning new skills and doing some tasks without support and creating links with people outside of Freeways, for others this may mean maintaining the skills they have for as long as possible.Freeways’ young people services are aimed at supporting 18-25 year olds with learning disabilities and /or autism. The service supports young people to develop the skills and confidence to access the community and get involved in a range of activities. Freeways can provide support on an individual basis or small groups that allow friendships to develop. We support adults with a learning disability in a person centred service, making all adaptations possible to involve the individuals, who we have the privilege to support, in the running of their own home and lives.
