What we do

We aim to increase the number of children, young people and families who access quality play opportunities. This is achieved in two ways:
(1) By directly delivering community play provision through opportunities such as playschemes, Play Ranger sessions, Forest Schools sessions and events
(2) By facilitating others to deliver - we can assist organisations and individuals to deliver their own provision by helping with areas such as training, mentoring, developing partnerships and provision of equipment.

We are responsible for the delivery of the Families First Holiday Play club during the school holidays for disabled children and young people. These schemes provide a comprehensive service which includes access to personal care, a nurse, specialist equipment and staff who are experienced with working with disabled children and young people.

We are also the lead on the Play Sufficiency Assessment process in the Vale of Glamorgan.
