Have choice and take control
Gwent carers hub is located in Pontypool town centre and offers support and advice for all unpaid carers living across the whole of Gwent. The hub was established by Pontypool Mencap and Torfaen Carers Group in March 2005 and is now delivered by Adferiad . Gwent Carers Hub provides a one stop shop where carers can access information, advice and assistance around their caring role simply and easily. Gwent Carers Hub also offers social and peer support groups, complimentary therapies, emotional support and counselling services, specialist clinics such as legal advice, hobby and activity groups. For carers who cannot access the hub, we also offer outreach spokes throughout Gwent where carers can access hub services locally.
Carers are encouraged to call into the hub for a coffee, chat and get the information and support that helps them – a warm welcome is always waiting.
