What we do

Interested in the local history of Cardiff? Want to join our friendly group? Then get yourself along to the Roath Local History Society!
The main unit of study for the group is the ancient parish of Roath and the research and recordings of its history.
The society holds lectures and visits to sites of historic interest. Also a series of lectures by prominent speakers on the second Wednesday of the month from September to May. These are held at St Edward's, Westville Road, Pen-y-lan, Cardiff, CF23 5DE. Meetings commence at 19.30.

Everyone, both young and old.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - Join on the night, £13.00 yearly membership, or £3.00 ad hoc charge for visitors.
