Have choice and take control
Provides parenting support to families with children aged 3-18 years living in Monmouthshire. There is evidence based parenting programmes, informal group support, drop-in support, workshops and tailored support to suit individual needs. The service provides:• Getting Ready for School courses• Early Years Family Learning courses (in Monmouthshire Primary schools)• Parenting programmes/courses• Wellbeing courses• You and Your Family support groups• Workshops (sleep, communication, managing emotions, teenage brain)Alongside some of the courses, there is a mobile childcare provision that supports parents/carers to access the services.
Families must be resident in Monmouthshire and have a child 3-18 with an identified need. Access to services made via a referral form either completed by a self-referral or a professional.
