Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) Substance Misuse Service aims to reduce the risks and damage caused by drugs or alcohol to individuals, families and the local community. They work in partnership with other agencies to improve the health and social welfare of service users by offering treatment and care.
The service is available for adults who are concerned about their drug and/or alcohol use.

The Substance Misuse Service operates an open referral system. We accept self referrals and referrals from a third party (consent from the individual must be obtained). All referrals will be taken by a duty worker. All service users who are referred are offered an initial assessment by a member of the team.
