Have choice and take control
Similar to indoor bowling, short mat takes place on a carpet-like playing surface but one that is smaller in length and width than a regular indoor mat. There are some other minor differences in the rules too but overall, it’s fairly safe to think of short mat bowls as indoor bowls’ little brother. Not that this means it’s any less important; as just like all little brothers – the game of short mat bowls is growing up and it’s getting bigger! This only goes on in the Winter Months.
