What we do

A Community Environmental Project in Prestatyn, North Wales.

Our project was established in 2017. We are working to transform a site that was once a waste disposal site.

Anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping in the past was a problem. The problems have now decreased.

The project’s aim is to create a multi use recreation area. With wild flowers and wildlife a major part of our initiative.

Located at the bottom of Lon Goed (Tip Lane) Prestatyn, with ample free car parking alongside the project space.

We are engaging with all age groups. Including less able and young citizens who are not working. Who may not be involved in other community activities.

Alongside clearing the site we are making bird, bat, butterfly boxes, and litter picking. With lots of intergenerational activities.

With everything documented via social media plus photography and video projects.

The Morfa Gateway project will transform the entrance to the Coed Y Morfa community woodlands.
