A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family and friends who could not manage without help. This could be a realitive, friend or neighbour who is frail, disabled or living with a condition. Many people do not recognise themselves as a carer and find it hard juggling with their caring role and maintaining their own wellbeing. It is important to recognise your own needs, carers have a number of rights and one of them is the right to information if you are an unpaid carer then come along to the carers rights information day to find out about your rights to getting help and support. This is a free event and will include the following • Information and advice• Buffet Lunch & refreshments• Speakers – including, Damian Lines STEP from Rubin Lewis O’Brien• Pamper sessions
The event is for anyone who is an unpaid carer living in Newport.
