This 2 hour workshop will explore what the menopause is and look at research about mindfulness and the menopause. It will introduce you to mindfulness techniques that can be applied when you are experiencing the effects of peri-menopause and menopause. You will also learn mindfulness exercises that you can use throughout your day - whether in work, at leisure or at home. We will identify what mindfulness is, look at mindfulness terminology and the neuroscientific evidence for mindfulness. Also we will consider what triggers stress and anxiety and what causes us not to be mindful. Refreshments are available in our on-site Tibetan Tea Room after the workshop.
