The Lions Club of Llandudno have organised a prostate cancer screening event for April 20th 2020. This is the third event the Club has organised and hope to test over 400 men.The test is a quick and simple consisting of taking a small blood sample. Following the analysis at the testing lab, the results are posted or emailed to the individuals within a few days. The test results and accompanying information letter will explain whether your results are clear or have a high PSA and further advice from your GP is needed.Our testing event takes place at the Trinity Centre, Trinity Avenue, Llandudno. Please use the preregistration from in the link below to book a suitable time for your test.
It’s is recommended that men between the ages of 40 and 80 come along and get tested. However, if there is a history of prostate cancer in the family then men under 40 may wish to be tested.
This is an open event for men between 40 to 80 but if there is a history of prostate cancer in the family, younger men are welcome to be tested.
