What we do

Come and join our SEW Shared Lives Virtual Open Days
Are you interested in becoming a Carer? Do you like the idea of working from home?
Come along and find out more about Shared Lives or how you could become a Shared Lives Carer.
We are holding the below Microsoft Teams events to talk about the Shared Lives Scheme in more detail. It is also an opportunity to answer any questions you may have.

The scheme provides a service for vulnerable adults with carers in their local community. Individuals using shared lives services have the opportunity to be supported in carers’ homes and local communities.

We offer placements in the six local authority areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen.

We can arrange:

Long-term placements
Short-term placements
Respite placements
Emergency placements
Sessional support
