What we do

We Are offering Free Volunteer Walk Leader Training in New Tredegar to help enable members of the community to provide walks in a variety of local spaces with different levels of difficulty. As a Volunteer walk leader with Living Streets you'll not only benefit from being outdoors, staying active and keeping fit but you'll also get a free DBS Check, public liability insurance on your walks, expenses and a Free Living Streets T Shirt!

Living Streets Cymru are working with the Healthy+ Active Fund (HAF) on Walking Friends Wales /Cyfeillion Cerdded Cymru, a project to enable older adults (aged 50 and over) to start walking and exploring their communities, meet new people and voice the need for changes to their local walking environment. Walking has a positive impact on different aspects of people’s lives, be it mental, physical or social, and as a Volunteer Walk Leader with Walking Friends Wales you can make a real difference to people's lives.
