What we do

Use our FREE Country Parks shuttle bus from Wrexham Town Centre to Wrexham’s Country Parks!

Join in with the optional “Walking With Trees” tours hosted by Woodland Classroom.
Tree walk from10am-12pm.

Informatiion
Acton Park is about half a mile north of Wrexham City Centre and covers 24 hectares (64 acres).

The park once formed the grounds of Acton Hall and many of the landscape features remain, with the lake and various notable trees being the most prominent. The park is made up of large areas of open parkland, woodland and the lake, as well as a range of sports and play facilities. There are also a small number of formal planted areas.

Join us for a casual wander through this beautiful country park with James from Woodland Classroom who will share fun facts and ID top tips on the trees we find along the way! Suitable for all ages.

FREE bus service from Tŷ Pawb.

Woodland Classroom Toilets available at the Bowling Club at 10am, at the start of the walk and 12pm at the end

This bus service is open to everyone but seats are limited. It is important to please book your ticket to ensure you have a seat.

09:30am - leave Ty Pawb - meet at main reception on Market Street at 9.20am ready to leave at 9.30am:

RETURN -
12.30pm - Leave Acton Park and return to Ty Pawb by 1pm
