Get creative this summer at Clay and Craft, Cowbridge! Our Pottery Summer School is the perfect place for children to explore clay through fun, hands-on sessions in a friendly, inspiring studio. From sculpting monsters and animals to painting pottery and even trying the wheel, kids will develop new skills, build confidence, and make amazing creations to take home. Each day brings something different, with plenty of laughter, learning, and messy play. It's the ultimate mix of art, imagination, and summer fun – no experience needed, just bring your ideas and a smile!

Who do we support

For ages 6-16

We are able to support children with additional needs. An experienced former lecturer of almost a decades experience across HE/FE. Parent to a neurodivergent child. Sessions are carefully planned to support people with additional needs and can be modified. At Clay and Craft, Cowbridge, we are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible learning environment where children of all abilities can thrive. Our Pottery Summer School offers a supportive space where learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) are encouraged to explore, express, and succeed through creative clay-based activities.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - Full Day courses £45, 2 Day Courses £75, 3 Day Courses £105, 4 Day Courses £150 and 5 Day Courses £170. All courses include materials and firings. Just bring a packed lunch, plenty of fluids and a head full of creative ideas.
