What we do

At our church school Flying Start provision, we offer a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for children aged 2–3. Through play-based learning, we support communication, social skills, physical development and early literacy and numeracy. Our caring team builds strong relationships with families, ensuring each child feels valued and confident. We are committed to high standards, working together with parents to provide the best start to their child’s learning journey

Who do we support

St. Mark's Little Lions currently caters for Flying Start families within the catchment of Merlin's Bridge.

We are currently in the process of applying to extend to a full day childcare offer from September, including wrap around provision.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Autumn term
  • Spring term
  • Summer term

We are unable to provide wrap around care.
