What we do

The Index is a record of children and young people who have disabilities or additional needs, living in the Vale of Glamorgan. By signing up to The Index families will receive regular information about new services, schemes, events and activities, via the newsletter The Index and regular mail-outs from The Index eNews.

The Index gives a clear picture of children and young people with disabilities or additional needs in the Vale, to help agencies work together to plan better services.

The Index is funded by Welsh Government's Families First Grant.

Who do we support

Whether you are a parent/carer or a professional, you can sign a child up to The Index by completing a registration form. To be included on The Index the child or young person must:
- be aged up to 18 years
- have a diagnosed disability, be in the process of diagnosis or have confirmed ongoing additional needs
