What we do

Home-Start Flintshire believes that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play the key role in giving children a good start in life to help them achieve their full potential. Home-Start offers a unique service - It recruits and trains volunteers with parenting/caring experience to undertake the majority of the support.
Home-Start Flintshire supports families to give their children the best possible start in life, through offering informal, friendly and confidential support to parents throughout Flintshire, building their resilience, strengthening their relationship with their children and widening their links with the local community.

Who do we support

Families in Flintshire who have at least one child under the age of 11.

Families can be self referred or can be referred by others, e.g. Health Visitor, Social Services, School Nurse, School, GP etc

    Please contact to discuss your child(s) needs further.   Home Visiting Volunteers for families with at least one child under the age of 11, including those with disabilities.
