What we do

The generic floating support service in Carmarthenshire is a service funded through Carmarthenshire Council’s Housing Support Grant.

The scheme provides support to people by helping them develop the skills needed to maintain their accommodation and live independently.

Who do we support

Any person aged 16 and older who requires support to maintain their tenancy and resides within any of the following villages in Carmarthenshire: Carmarthen Town South, Carmarthen Town West, Cilycwm, Cynwyl Gaeo, Llandeilo, Llandovery, Llanfihangel, Aberbythych, Llangadog, Llanybydder, Manordeilo, Salem.

This service is for people aged between 16 years and 100 years.

Is there a charge to use this service?

No

Can anyone use this service?

Applications can be made directly to the scheme by a referring officer or through a self referral. Once an application is made, the applicant will be contacted within seven days to make arrangements for an interview.
