What we do

We help families in conflict, especially those divorcing or separating. With over 40 years' experience providing expert, professional family mediation services, we work in over 500 locations across England & Wales.

Family mediation is quicker and more cost-effective than heading to court. It reduces conflict, and your family stays in control of arrangements over children, property and finance.

Who do we support

Parents who are divorcing or separating. Family mediation will help people whose relationship is breaking down to make sensible and durable arrangements for themselves and their children. It can help at any stage, if you are newly separated or have separated sometime ago but still have things you need to sort out.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - Family Mediation is free if you are eligible for Legal Aid. We can help you with the assessment. The initial meeting and one mediation session is also free for both parents if one parent is eligible for legal aid. if you are not eligible for legal aid then there are charges for our services.

Can anyone use this service?

Anyone who is experiencing conflict or is in the process of divorce or separation can use our service. They can refer themselves by phone or through our website or their support worker, solicitor social worker can make a referral on your behalf.
