Tan Y Maen is the ICAN Support Hub for the whole of South Gwynedd. At our centres in Blaenau Ffestioniog and Dolgellau we provide information, advice and support to individuals and organisations on any aspect of mental health and wellbeing. You can call in to our Wellbeing Centre in Blaenau Ffestiniog between 10 and 4 on Tuesday or Thursday to get support. In other areas you can call us, email us or send us a text or WhatsApp message to get support. We provide therapeutic activities through our weekly Art Group, which meets from 1pm to 3pm every Tuesday and our Community Garden and 'Mens Shed' Support groups which meet from 10.30 to 2.30 every Tuesday and Thursday. We operate Community Wellbeing Projects in Dolgellau and Tywyn providing individual and group support. We link in with other local groups and activities in other areas. Through Parabl Talking Therapies we provide counselling, CCBT, therapy groups for anxiety, depression and self esteem and Mindfulness.
Anyone affected or interested in any aspect of mental health, individuals, family members, carers and others. We deal only adults and young people 14 plus as part of family support.
