Diverse Cymru provides a recovery based project for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people living across Wales who are affected by mental ill health.We use solution focused methods to promote recovery, empowerment and independent living in the community. We offer understanding and non-judgemental support to help focus on recovery.In Cardiff and the Vale, we offer recovery based goal setting, holistically tailoring support for the individual. We also offer a befriending scheme, providing support for individuals experiencing mental ill health and social isolation.Across Wales, we offer online support and activities for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people experiencing mental ill health to help people make connections and build confidence. Activities include yoga, Bollywood dance and a culture club, among others.Diverse Cymru also raises awareness of issues surrounding Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic mental health and work to reduce discrimination and inequality.
