Have choice and take control
We provide and support day opportunities in a variety of settings, including social outreach at home, community and centre-based activities within the Vale of Glamorgan. We offer these services to people aged 18 years and over and they are designed to help people to live as independently as possible. Services for Older people are provided in partnership with The Care Collective and Hafod. The aims of the services that we provide are: • To promote independence and personal development • To reduce social isolation • To provide respite for carers at home • To focus upon positive outcomes to meet individual needs • To provide intensive support for people who exhibit challenging behaviours or have high support needs.
We support older people, adults living with dementia, adults with learning difficulties and younger physically disabled adults. The services by nature also provide advice and support for carers.
