It fosters the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of good leadership and citizenship”.The air cadets experience the following: Flying, Gliding, Shooting, Aero Modelling, Adventure Training, Archery, Canoeing, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Hillwalking, Camping, Parades, Community Relations, Duke of Edinburgh, Fieldcraft &Team Building exercises, First Aid, Leadership, Sport (Hockey, Netball, Football, Rugby, Volleyball, Basketball & Circuit Training), Summer / Easter Camps at RAF Stations & overseas trips.Cadets obtain qualifications up to level 2 BTEC. The Air Cadets is a national youth movement, open to young men and women from school year 8 up to 17 years old to join. All cadets can remain until their 20th birthday.
