What we do

NHS hospital services are run and managed by NHS Health Boards, which make sure that hospitals provide high-quality healthcare, and that money is spent efficiently. This hospital is a Minor Injury Unit (MIU) and is for minor injuries that are not serious or life threatening.

Remember to Think 111 First.  If you require the Minor Injury Unit or need advice on where to go, contact 111 before attending the Minor Injury Unit.  Injury must be less than 4 weeks old to be seen at the Minor Injury Unit. Any patient requiring A&E will be directed/transferred to the Grange University Hospital. 

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - NHS services are generally free at the point of delivery. There may be specific aspects of service which you may be charged for e.g. some services provided via your dentist or optician etc.
