What we do

Provides support for adults with acquired brain injury and their families living in South Wales. This includes free information and advice, sign posting, welfare benefits, community walking/wheeling groups from a variety of locations and a monthly family and friends group as well as trips out, social events and a counselling service. We run a specialist Independence and Wellbeing Service at our centre in University Hospital Llandough, we also have services in Hawthorn Community Centre and HighCross Community Hall. These services require a contribution or funding.

Who do we support

Adults with acquired brain injuries and their families.

This service is for people aged 18+.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Depends - Our Information and Outreach Service and Community groups are free of charge. The daily charge to attend our Independence and Wellbeing Centre is £45-£65, often funded through social services or health, and there is a subsidised charge for our Counselling Service.

Can anyone use this service?

A referral is required but this includes a self referral which can be downloaded from our website. We will require medical evidence of acquired brain injury.
