What we do

Adult Learning Cardiff offer a range of flexible learning opportunities designed to support individuals to take their first steps back into learning & assist to progress to further learning, training or employment.

These Welsh Government funded courses are free and include a range of IT courses, as well as courses to assist with the development of skills for those looking to work in childcare, hospitality, administration or retail.

Some courses are delivered bilingually in English and Welsh, please see the online course prospectus for more information.

Who do we support

Individuals aged 16 years and above who are eligible to enrol on these courses include:
•those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension) and actively seeking employment.
•those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment but who are actively seeking work.

We also welcome enrolments from those with few or no formal qualifications and referrals from Third Sector organisations and charities who are supporting individuals back into education and work are also welcome.
