Have choice and take control
Thrive Cardiff is a support group for families that include a child/young adult with a disability. The group is organised and managed by volunteers. The families include children with a range of disabilities, including Autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome etc. It offers parents/carers the opportunity to meet on a social basis, with other families who understand the challenges of having a child with additional needs. We provide activities and events during school holiday time for our member families. Our activities are for parents and children and young adults. We also hold a soft play session for our families at Antz Inya Pants, Newport Road, Cardiff every Friday at 6pm. Non members can attend for 3 sessions before having to become a member.
Children and young people with disabilities, as well as siblings who are very important part of the group and their parents / carers.
Depends - We charge a membership fee of £20 a year.
