Cardiff Rivers Group are a Charity Organisation that tries to visibly improve cleanliness of the rivers in and around Cardiff. This means that people living in Cardiff, and visitors, can appreciate the beauty that these unique rivers and waterways bring to our city. The core work of our group involves:-• Litter picks, • Removal of rubbish from rivers, streams, ponds and other water courses, • Habitat management, such as reducing invasive species like Himalayan Balsam, • Access and amenity improvements, • Lobbying relevant bodies to improve the quality of the environment within South Wales, • Clear blockages and improve water flow.
Cardiff Rivers Group is open to anyone. If children under the age of 16 are involved we insist that they have a parent or guardian with them.

Our 3 weekly events are advertised on Facebook and via targeted email which our volunteers subscribe to on our website.
