What we do

Llamau provides the following services to young people in Newport:
32 units of Supported Accommodation in shared houses.

Floating support to young people in their own tenancies or those in need of accommodation.

Mediation Plus - support for young people and their parents/carers to help them remain or return to live in the family home. Plus wider support for young people at risk of homelessness.

Housing Related Floating Support for Care Leavers.

Who do we support

Generally for all young people aged 16-25 with housing related support needs. Some services are only available to young people aged 16-21.

Young people are assigned a Support Worker who provides structured support to help them through the issues they are facing in relation to housing, finances, wellbeing, confidence building, access to training, education and employment.

This service is for people aged between 16 years and 25 years.

Anyone young person can be referred via the Council's Housing/Homelessness department
