What we do

Llamau provides the following services to young people in Torfaen:
11 units of Supported Accommodation for Care experienced young people. This consists of a 4 bed house, 3 bed house and 4 dispersed single occupancy units.

12 self contained flats for young people.

32 units of Housing Related Floating Support.

Mediation Plus - support for young people and their parents/carers to help them remain or return to live in the family home. Plus wider support for young people at risk of homelessness.

Supported Lodgings - Young people live with a 'provider' who is a person in the community with a spare room who helps them to build their independent living skills.

Who do we support

Generally for all young people aged 16-24 with housing related support needs. Some services are only available to young people aged 16-21, or to Care Experienced young people.

Young people are assigned a Support Worker who provides structured support to help them through the issues they are facing in relation to housing, finances, wellbeing, confidence building, access to training, education and employment.

This service is for people aged between 16 years and 25 years.

Anyone young person can be referred via the Council's Housing/Homelessness department
