Care and Repair Bridgend exists to help vulnerable and older people to repair and improve their homes, thereby enabling them to live at home in increased comfort, safety and security. They work to ensure that vulnerable and older people within these areas have warm, safe and secure homes that meet their individual needs. Care and Repair Bridgend offer a range of services including: - Home Improvement: Advice & Support service - We help older homeowners and private tenants to repair, adapt and maintain their homes. We will visit you at home to discuss what repairs or adaptations you need, the possible solutions, the likely costs and sources of funding. - Rapid Response Adaptation Programme RRAP is funded by Welsh Government and delivered by Care & Repair is for people who are in hospital awaiting discharge, have recently been discharged from hospital or are at risk of being admitted to hospital or into a Care Home.
Care & Repair Bridgend provide help and advice for those aged 60+ to enable them to remain safe, secure and independent in their own homes.
