Funded by Cardiff Council, Llamau (in partnership with Hafod) provide 60+ units of 24 hour staffed supported accommodation in smaller projects, located in various areas of the city. Care Leavers and Young people facing homelessness and with a variety of complex vulnerabilities and support needs are referred to us by Cardiff Council. Our aim is to work with young people and support them on the journey towards independence in the community. We will provide support to move on and settle in independent accommodation.
Young people (aged 16 - 21) facing homelessness or needing supported accommodation as part of a pathway from residential / foster care.
Yes - There is a rent and service charge for the supported accommodation which will vary according to the particular project.
Referrals are exclusively received from Cardiff Council's Young Person Gateway.
