What we do

Offers 1:1 parenting support through generic parenting (referral needed by professional) and structured parenting workshops which parents can self refer to.
More specialized support is available for parents who have experienced domestic abuse or substance misuse.
The Family Aid Team aims to prevent vulnerable families from becoming homeless by promoting social inclusion and greater independence. Support with budgeting, debts apply for accommodation, routines, benefits and home conditions.
PAMs Team at the Family Centers undertake PAMs Assessments for parents who have a diagnosed learning need. Referrals are received from social workers.
Ty Ni has two rooms which are available to Wrexham Council staff that are working with families. These rooms are suitable for parenting workshops, sessional use for parents working with professionals and family contacts supervised by a professional.
Sensory room also available for families supervised by a professional.
