What we do

The Floating Support service in Llanelli supports individuals provides step down housing related support for people who are transitioning towards independent living in Llanelli.

Support is offered across Caer Las’ own shared housing and individuals own homes. Support offered will look to stabilise behaviour and enable individuals to develop confidence and skills required to live independently and successfully in a tenancy. Individuals have Choice, Voice, and Control in respect to the support they receive. A package of support is tailored to the need of the individual. All support staff are trained in Solution Focus and work in a psychologically and trauma informed way. The Project works with statutory services and other local agencies in Llanelli to deliver a joined-up comprehensive package of support that focuses on harm reduction.

The Scheme is funded by Supporting People Revenue Grant funds and regulated by the Welsh Assembly Government.
