Nacro Doorstop is an intensive housing related support project for service users with substance misuse support needs. The scheme provides six units of temporary short term accommodation for service users whilst support needs are addressed. The project aims to work with service users on goals identified and agreed jointly by staff and service users alike. Nacro focuses on services users abilities and aims to develop confidence and skills to live independently
People aged 18 and over who have substance misuse and housing related support needs. Service users should be committed to engage with substance misuse support services

The scheme is for anyone aged 18 or over, with support needs relating to substance misuse, and engaged with substance misuse services. A housing need is also required. Referrals are accepted through the Flintshire supporting people gateway
