Our free Independent Professional Advocacy (IPA) service provides advocacy support to help people understand and be involved in adult social care decisions. We offer one-to-one casework advocacy to support individuals to find out about their rights, take part in social services assessments, care and support planning, and reviews. We also support people through safeguarding processes. Our advocates make sure individuals are listened to and supported to have their say.
This service is for adults (18 and over) with a learning disability or autism spectrum conditions who live in, are moving to, or receive care and support funded by Cardiff Council or the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
